Welsh Cakes

I had been eating Welsh Cakes the wrong way!
Welsh Cakes are vaguely similar to fruit scones, but much thinner.
I’d always eaten them cold, straight from the packet.
This is the wrong way!
They should be served warm and sprinkled with caster sugar.
For a more decadent taste experience, they can also be sprinkled with caster sugar and butter!
Join me in this video as I discover the difference this makes!
My first food test review video, Welsh Cakes are a regional delicacy or speciality of Wales.
They are a fairly simple food, the main ingredients being flour, sultanas, fat and sugar. Traditionally they are baked on a flat cast iron griddle.
